LICENSING POLL FOR 1905.
The following was the result of the polling on uo-license question for Manawatu in 1905. It will be seen that although no-license was carried by a majority of 542 over continuance, yet the no-liceuse party were 217 votes short of the required three-fifths majority. Owing to the re-adjustment of the electoral boundaries, Shannon, Tokomaru, and the biggest part of Moutoa, will this year be eliminated :
