WEDDING.

WRIGHT—COLEY

A quiet wedding was celebrated in All Saints’ Clum.ii on Tuesday morning at eight o’clock, when the Rev. G. Young - Woodward united Alfred Mitchell, second son of Mr Geo. Wright, of Foxton, to May Vicloiia, fouith daughter of Mr Harry Coley, of Foxton. Despite the early hour, there was a fair attendance of interested spectators. The bride was attired in a tailor-made navy blue travelling costume and pretty white straw hat, trimmed with white tips and pink roses, relieved with champagne tulle, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. She was given away by her father, and was attended by two bridesmaids, viz , Miss Jarman, attired in white bishop’s lawn, trimmed with lace and insertion, white silk hat, and carrying a bouquet; and little Miss Gwen Lawton, niece of the bride, prettily attired in pale blue silk, trimmed with lace and insertion, white silk hat, and carrying a basket of choice flowers. Mr William Coley, brother of the bride, officiated as best man. As the party left the church, Miss Jenks, organist, played the wedding march. Included among the many presents was a purse of sovereigns from the bride’s father. The happy couple left by the 9 a.m. train for an extended honeymoon, after which Mr and Mrs Wright will take up their residence in Foxton. The Herald joins in wishing Mr and Mrs Wright health and prosperity.
