The High Commissioner cabled at noon to-day as follows :—Hemp market rather quiet; poor business has been done; good fair, £27 10s; fair £ 2 3 ; fair current Manila £ 2 3 xos; October-Decem-ber shipments good fair £26 ; fair £ 2 3 ; fair current Manila £2s 10s; last week’s Manila output 30,000 bales.
