THE ROYAL PICTURES.
Play-goers should be interested in the announcement made in our advertising columns to the effect that the Royal Picture Syndicate is about to establish a circuit in this district, and that the towns selected will be regularly visited. The Royal Pictures have been established in Wellington for the past nine months, and are also in occupancy of His Majesty’s Theatre, Christchurch. A splendid itinerary has been arranged for this district, and thereafter the towns mentioned will be visited at regular intervals. Only the most up-to-date subjects will be treated, projected by Pa the Freres Paris Biographic Electric Plant, and a complete change of programme every visit is piomised. The management have also secured the services of Miss Beatrice Butler, the eminent Australian soprana, to render the latest illustrated songs. The performance to be submitted will be the same as is given in Wellington, and a bumper house is anticipated here.
