FREEMASONRY.
The installation of Bro. (Dr.) J P. Kennedy as Master of Lodge Horowhenua, No. 135, and investiture of officers, took place at Levin last night. Grand Lodge was represented by Pro. G.M., R. Wor. Bro. Fletcher, R. Wor. Bro. Williams, P.G.M., R.W. Bro. J, Moncrieff, S.G.W., Wor. Bro. Hankins, Wor. Bro, 0. Neilson, S.G.D., Wor. Bro. A. U. Clemett, G. Officers and brethren ol sister lodges were well represented. Wairarapa and Wellington madea good show ; Te Awahou, in point of numbers, took pride of place among the visitors. The following officers were invested by Wor. Bro. Moncrieff: I.P.M, Wor. Bro. Easther, S.W. Bro. R. J. Jones, J. W. Bro. J. G. Hankins, Secretary Bro. B. R. Gardener; Chaplain Bro. A. Heaseman, S.D. Bro. H. Walker, J.D. Bro. J.Whitaker, LG. Bro. W. Cooper, Stewards Bros. Douglas and Moore, Tyler Bro, E. Malcolm. The visitors were subsequently entertained at a banquet, when the usual toast list was gone through, interspersed with harmony.
