HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.

We have been asked on more than one occasion from what source the High Commissioner obtains his information in respect to the weekly prices of the hemp market. We can only say that it is supposed to be very authentic, for were it otherwise it would involve millers in serious complications. We are sure, however, that the Agricultural Department would not countenance any of the High Commissioner’s staff faking prices.
