[TO THE EDITOR.]
Sir, —Please allow me through the medium of your valuable columns to draw the attention of the mayor and councillors to a splendid opportunity of receiving an expert opinion as to the possibilities of obtaining artesian water in Foxton. The Rev, H. Mason, of Otahuhu, who is well-known as the surest finder of artesian water in the Dominion, is now in Levin, and no doubt could be induced to come here and point out the best spot to sink for water. This is an opportunity that should not be missed.—l am, etc., Lay the Dust, [We hope the Mayor will get into communication with Mr Mason. Ed. Herald].
