At a meeting of the shareholders of the Wellington Gas Company to-day it was decided to increase the capital of the company to .£400,000 by the creation of additional capital to the amount of £ 200,000, divided into 20,000 shares of £lO each, such shares to be issued as ordinagy shares. Tli^--.
company is carrying out some new works on a large scale.
