Hastings, August 13. As the result of incidents occurring during a hostile street demonstration against Fearuley, the police agent, after judgment had been given in the recent betting cases, C. Fowler (Borough Councillor), M. Johnson 'draper), and W. Stack (a consumptive invalid) have each been served with a summons to appear at the Napier Police Court in answer to the charge that they did behave in a manner which might have caused a breach of the peace. It is understood that W. Stack takes proceedings against Inspector Macdonuell tor roughly handling him in the street without cause.
