INDOMITABLE’S SPEED RECORD.
Over 28 Miles an Hour. London, August 4. H.M.S. Indomitable, on the voyage to Cowes, averaged 25.13 knots, and frequently exceeded 26. The Prince of Wales, who was returning from his visit to Canada, and all the officers, assisted the stokers. The battleship passed fifty ice i bergs.
