AUCTION REPORT.
Percy M. Page reports a good attendance at the mart on Saturday last, when a lot of small lines were sold at reasonable rates. Furniture lines are rather dull; owing to the calving season having commenced, better business is being done in cow covers. Produce lines meet with ready sale, potatoes being in brisk demand. Quotations Oats, 3s gd ; wheat, 5s rod ; pollard, 9s 6d ; bran, 8s 6d ; potatoes, 7s 6d ; onions, 10s ; swedes, 4s 6d ; parsnips, 4s 6d ; carrots, 43 6d ; leeks, id per bundle ; pumpkins, 8s; fine cooking apples, 8s 6d per case (smaller quantities, 3d lb) ; fowls, from is 6d to 2s each.
