CHILDREN’S SHOCKING FATE.
London, July 14
While the seamen of the warships Hermes and Durban were giving a display of fire saving apparatus three children, placed on top of temporary buildings to show the facilities for lifesaving, were killed owing to the premature ignition of the building through mistaking the signal. The spectators thought the children were dummies.
