FOOTBALL.

British v. Manawatn and Horowhenua.

Wednesday afternoon uext will see the much discussed football match Britain v. Manawatn and Horowhenua, played on the Showgrounds at Palmerston North. It is safe to predict that of the large crowd that will witness the game a very large percentage will consist of Foxton residents. Already many applications have been sent by post to Mr W- Park, at Palmerston North, for reserved seats in the big grandstand, and when the plan closes it is anticipated that every seat will be disposed of. The price of reserved seats is 5/-, but tickets also admit to ground. Application for seats must be accompanied by stamped addressed envelope for tickets.
