AUCTION REPORT.

Percy M. Page reports a fair attendance of buyers at the Foxton Auction Mart on Saturday last, when a lot of small lines of furniture i tc., were sold at satisfactory pi ices. Good business was done in produce lines at the following rates : —Potatoes (line cleared) 9s per cwt; table swedes, 5s per cwt; onions, 9s per cwt ;* carrots, 4d per bundle ; Stewart Island oysters, 6d per dozen. To arrive from Nelson this week. I have 30 cases of apples also ex “ s.s. Wootton.” Potatoes, chick wheat, and feed oats, prices ot which will be quoted next week.
