London Markets. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Btd., Wellington, have received the following cable messages from their Bondon house, under date ol the nth inst. : Butter.—The market is firm. The Copenhagen official quotation is 2 kroners (about 2s 3d) per cwt higher. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 6th ult., amounted to dg.ooocwt, as compared with 84,000 cwt for the corresponding week of 1967, showing a decrease of 15,000 cwt. Finest, 104 s per cwt. Frozen meat.—Tbe market for frozen lamb is firm, without any change in prices. Prices for frozen mutton are unchanged, but the output is limited. Frozen beef prices are a shade easier.
