LEMOINE AND HIS DIAMONDS.

Pakis, June 10. Eemoine, who was charged with swindling Sir Julius Wernher, by pretending that he could make diamonds, and who was liberated on bail so that he might have a chance to show his skill, has presented the magistrate with a miniature diamond.

He made many excuses for not producing a 300 carat stone, and requested a further postponement of the case.

The magistrate granted a postponement till June 17, when the envelope, which was deposited with the London, Union and Smith’s Bank, and which is supposed to contain a certain tormula, will be opened.
