PRESIDENT FALLIERES IN ENGLAND.
An Imposing Reception.
London, Tuesday,
The cruiser Leon Gambetta conveyed President Fallieres to Dover to-day, where he was received by the Channel Fleet of vessels manned by 17,554 inen. Prince Arthur of Connaught represented the King, Preparations for a great reception are being made in London. King Edward, Prince of Wales, the Prime Minister, and Earl Grey (minister for Foreign Affairs), received the distinguished visitor at Victoria station. President Fallieres resides in St. James’. Palace during his stay in London. '
