MASONIC.

The annual communication of Grand Lodge was opened at Auckland on Wednesday by M.W. Bro, Lord Plunket, O.M. Last night’s installation of Lord Plunket as G.M. was the most brilliant function in the annals of freemasonry in the Dominion. The Wellington District is honoured as follows :—Grand Superintendent, R.W. Bro. R. Fletcher ; Grand Senior Warden, W. Bro. O. Neilson ; Grand Director of Ceremonies, W. Bro. J. A. Nash ; Grand Standard Bearer.W. Bro. A. D. Clemctt. W. Bro. C. L. Barnard is representing the local lodge at the ceremonies.
