Claim for Wrongful Dismissal

The Hon. A. R. Guinness was unsuccessful in his attempts at Blackball to-day to induce the strikers to return to work now the company has conceded half-an-hour for crib time. The men refuse to accept ten hours, but will return on eight hours. The case in which Mr Fox, president of the Blackball miners, is suing the Blackball Coal Company for .£55 for wrongful dismissal, will be heard at Ahanra on Wednesday.
