Hide and Skin Report.
Messrs Dalgely and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale of wool, skins, and hides, on Friday afternoon last. The market was not animated, and prices were about equal to those ruling at last sales. We quote as follows: —Wool.. —Crossbred qd to lambs qd to dead mixed 2%d. Skins. —Crossbred medium q 3 4d to 5/id, coarse crossbred toqM, shorts lambs 3}id, hoggets 3d, dead and broken 2%d to 3)4d, pelts 2)4d to 3%'d ; salted lambs is 6d to is rod, salted crossbreds as to 2s qd, butchers’ crossbreds 2s 3d to 2s gd each. Hides. —Ox, 34 to 6ilbs, 5M to cow, 42 to 52lbs, to q-Jfid; cows, cut and slippy, 2d to 3d ; yearlings, to 3ffjd ; calf, 3)<d to s/sd. Taeeow. — Casks in shipping order, 10s per ton ; tins, 17s 6d to 20s 3d per cwt. Next sale day, Friday, 24th inst.
