VARSITY BOAT RACE.

Win for Cambridge. London, April 5. Cambridge won the boat race by two and a half lengths. Oxford won the toss and chose the Surrey station. Cambridge immediately went half a length ahead, and maintained the lead throughout, paddling home in 19mm 19 sec. [This makes the third year in Succession that Cambridge has won the historic race. Last year Cambridge won by \\ lengths in zomin. 26 fee., and in 1906 by lengths in 19mm. 24 sec. Since 1839 Cambridge has won on 29 occasions and Oxford on 34; a dead-heat resulted in 1877.]
