FOOTBALL.
A meeting ol the Albion Football Club is advertised to take place in Shadbolt’s Hotel to-mor-row night, at 8 o’clock. As business of an important nature is to be discussed a full attendance of members is requested. The annual meeting of the Awahou Football Club was held at Whyte’s Hotel on Saturday, 28th March, at 8 p.m. The annual report and balance sheet presented by the Secretary was adopted. The following are the officers elected for the year:—Patron, J Stevens, Esq., M.P.; President, Mr W. J. White; Vice-Presidents: Drs Maudl and Adams, Messrs B. G. Gower, O. Robinson, F. S. Easton, A. M. Wright, W. C. Howan, A, E. Sbadbolt, George Gray, R. H. Baillie, C. E. Bird, O. E. Austin, O. Cleland, G. W. Morgan, G. Stiles, George Coley, and W. Walden ; Management Committee; Messrs E. Wauklyn, R. Baker, W. Lacey, J. Reid, W. Hooker, F. Spiers, JJillettS. Wright; Selectors: Messrs E. Wauklyn, R. Hines, and W. J. White.
