The Rosehill Cup was run today. Result: Marauui i, Absentee 2, Lady Esme 3- Thirteen starters. Maranui went to the front in the straight and won by three lengths. Time, 2.8 %. [Maranui was bred and is owned by that veteran of the New Zealand tmf, Mr Dan O’Brien. Maranui, who is by Malatua, had won twice previously somewhat recently across the water, including the Warwick Farm Race Welter a week ago in which, however, Mr O’Brien’s colt met very weak opposition.] London, March 28. The racehorse the Lawyer was found dead in its box tke evening running third in the Liverpool Grand National.
