Stratford, March 27.
John Gilbert was fined £1 and costs for selling milk to a Stratford resident, the same not being obtained from a registered dairy. For failing to register ’the dairy from which milk was sold, the same defendant was fined £5 and costs.
Auckland, March 27,
Irene Craydown, 2J years, a daughter of an Oaehunga resident,died of tetanus in the Auckland hospital last night. She was walking barefoot and picked up a splinter, which apparently was only partially removed.
