The fact that Mr Edmund Montgomery has, practically without cessation, continually toured the Dominion for twelve years past, can be taken as a fairly good indication that he must have succeeded in gauging the public taste accurately, and keeping faith with that somewhat capricious article. Another of Mr Montgomery’s regular visits to Foxton will eventuate at the local Hall on Tuesday next, 17th March. The prediction made some time ago that the picture boom was a thing of the past, is emphatically contradicted when Mr Montgomery happens along. In his day he must have handled an enormous quantity of picture films, as each visit finds him with an entirely new series of the latest successes.
