MOUTOA DRAINAGE BOARD.
The ratepayers’ roll for the Moutoa Drainage District was finally settled at the Magistrate’s Court by Mr Thomson, S.M., yesterday, only two minor objections were made and the roll signed. In connection with the proposed works of drainage it has been decided to invite tenders at once, to be in by the first meeting of the Board after election. The scheme will involve an expenditure of some thousands of pounds and means an immense advantage to the district generally.
