London Wool Sales.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable from their London House under dale of 7th February : Sales closed firm and competition was brisk. Greasy good merino wools : Prices are on the average at par to 5 per cent, higher than closing rates of last series. Greasy merino wools, inferior and faulty qualities, 5 per cent lower. Scoured meripo wools, 5 per cent, lower. Fine crossbred wools : Any change in prices is in favour of sellers. Medium and. coarse crossbred wools : Prices are on the average ten per cent, lower. Gut of the net quantity available for sale, some Br,ooo bales have been sold for hpme consumption, 70,000 bales for the Continent, 60,000 bales for America, leaving 30,000 bales to be carried forward to March series.
