MOUTOA DRAINAGE SYSTEM

District Constituted.

Thursday’s Gazette contains an Order-in-Council constituting the Moutoa Drainage District, the area of which is defined as follows: “ All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north generally by the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 421, Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District, from the Manawatu River to the northeastern corner of the said section * thence by the road intersecting Section 41 1 and forming the northeastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 428, 429, 430, 431, 432, 433, and 434, of said block V; thence northerly by the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 258, Block a distance of 11 chains; thence easterly at right angles to the last mentioned road for a distance of 10 chains, thence northerly by a right line parallel to the road forming the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 258 and 251, Block VI aforesaid, to the road forming the northern boundary of the lastmentioned section; thence by the road forming the northern ,boundaries of Sections Nos. 251, 257, and 256 to the south-eastern corner of Sections No. 254, thence by Sections Nos. 254,436,439, 435, 27 28, 29, and 30, Block VI aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section ; thence by the road forming the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 8,9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 to the southeastern corner of the last-mention-ed section ; thence' by Sections Nos. 13, 14, 40, 4L 43. 44, 45. and 46 to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line running due east to the Manawatu River ; arid thence towards the north-east, east, south, and west by the Manawatu River to the place of commencement.”
