THE HEMP INDUSTRY.

We have received a copy of the grader’s report on 54 bales of hemp graded at Foxtou, on Saturday last, for Messrs Saunders Bros., of Moutoa, which we think should be given publicity, as it constitutes a record for this and many previous season's in this district. The grading shows five points to spare over “ fine ” on the above-mentioned quantity. The grader remarks: “ I am very pleased with the manner in which you are treating your hemp, which shows very creditable work throughout, and reflects great credit.” Messrs Saunders Bros, are to be congratulated upon the high standard they are setting, and it is by this method that New Zealand hemp will permanently establish itself on the world’s market.
