FOXTON CO-OPERATIVE BUILDING SOCIETY.

The First Appropriation The first ballot of the Foxton Co-operative Building Society for an appropriation of £IOO, took place in the Council Chambers last night, and created a little excitement. The ballot resulted in favour of Mr Gardner, who holds three shares. The successful shareholder will now hold £IOO free of interest, and will be entitled to participate at future ballots until he is successful in drawing another £2OO. Mrs Gray drew the lucky marble.
