Acceptances for the Local Meeting. The acceptances received last night for the first day augurs well for the success of next week’s local meeting. The acceptances are more numerous than have obtained for many years previous, and the horses are well distributed in the various events. For instance, in the Hack Hurdles, there are nine, Electric 14, Cup 9, Awahou Welter 14, Flying 9, Dash Hack 13, Herrington 11, There are 20 entries for the Scurry, and 14 for the Trial Hack.
