WEDDING BELLS.
Smith—Rlmmor.
At the local Presbyterian Church yesterday forenoon, Mr H. V. Smith, son of Mr James Smith, of Ashhurst, was united in matrimony to Miss Etta, third daughter of .: Thomas Rimmer Esq., J.P. The ' ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. K. Aitken. The bride looked charming in a becoming costume and was attended by her sister Lilia, and Miss E. Smith, sister of the bridegroom, Mr R. Rimmer undertook the duties Of best man. The bride was given away by her father.. As the bridal party entered and left the church, the organist. played the Wedding March. A large party were subsequently entertained at breakfast in the Masonic Hall, by th# parents of the bride, where the usual toasts were honoured. The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of many useful and valuable gifts. The honeymoon is being spent in Wanganui, after which Mr and Mrs Smith will settle in Foxton. The catering was capably carried out by Mr M. Perreau,
