MYSTERIOUS DEATH.

Sydney, Dec. 15. The body of a fourteen-year-old boy named Oswald Barlow was found in the ocean near Manly, with a hatpin driven into the heart. The lad had been missing for some days. It was stated that he had been depressed through the departure of a brother to New Zealand a few weeks ago, but the manner of death would indicate foul play rather than suicide. A quantity of linotype metal and nails was found in the pockets. A post-examination of Barlow’s body disclosed a hatpin in the heart. Death, however, was due to drown ing.
