WELLINGTON TO AUCKLAND.

Speaking at Auckland on Tuesday last, the Premier stated that the through train from Wellington to Auckland would be running about the end of next year. The fares will be £\ 19s id first, and £1 is 2d second class; ordinary return double single fare ; holiday return £$ ns first, £1 15s 6d second class. The carriages will be ift wider than those now used. The trains will leave Wellington and Auckland daily at noon and arrive at the terminus at eight o’clock the next morning. Special engines are also under construction for the service.
