FOOTBALL.
A Win for the All-Blacks. London, Nov. 30. At Dewsbury, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, the New Zealand football team to-day played the sixteenth match of their tour through the Northern Union districts, again-it a team representing Dewsbury and Batley. Ideal weather prevailed, and the match was witnessed by eight thousand spectators. The first half of the game was severely contested, and at the end of the spell the only score was a try registered by the home team. After half-time the visitors’ threequarters proved their superiority, the game resulting—New Zealand (3 goals, 4 tries) 18, Dewsbury and Batley (1 goal, 2 tries) 8.
