THE WARWICK BIOSCOPE CO.

The above company will appear in the Public Hall to-night a«d tomorrow night. The pictures are said to be a revelation in bioscopic art, being projected by the latest 1907 model bioscope and shown by arrangement with the Warwick Trading Co., Ltd., London. Thji great improvement in this type of picture machine is that the otrjectional flicker is entirely overcome, and one can sit and watch beautiful clear pictures and thoroughly enjoy the performance. Amongst the subjects to be shown here for the first time will be the series entitled “The Life of the World.” These pictures give one a splendid idea of what is daily happening in other parts of the world. Large cities are visited in quick succession, showing all sorts and conditions of life, all struggling for a living. The rich are shown in their power of wealth, while the other side of the story shows the poor in all their poverty. The company carries a very large assortment of pictures, and puts through 20,000 ft of film at each performance. In conjunction with the pictures, the following artists will make their first appearance here : Miss Esther Norden, Associate London College of Music, brilliant pianist; Mr E. Shaw, baritone and illustrated singer; Mr Chas. Ward, society entertainer.
