A NOTED EVANGELIST.

The Rev. J. Flanagan, a noted preacher and evangelist from England, is at present labouring in the dominion. He has come, at the invitation of the Primitive Methodist Conference of New Zealand, to visit and conduct evangelistic services in the churches. For 14 years Mr Flanagan worked in some of the poorest and most densely populated parts ot London. While there he was instrumental in building the St. George’s Mission Hall. The cost of this, he raised by preaching and lecturing all over England. Of slum life and work, Mr Flanagan has had a large experience. He will visit Foxton and conduct evangelistic services and lecture from Sunday, December Bth to the nth.
