ATHLETIC CLUB’S SPORTS.
——♦ To-Morrow. The postponed Sports of the Foxton Athletic .Chib will he held to-morrow afternoon in Victoria Park commencing at 2 o’clock. The events to he got oil are District Footballers’ Race, One Mile Bike Race, Ladies’ Bracelet, (300 yds). One Mile Running, Wrestling. Half-mile Bike Race. Baby Show, 100 yards of Grand Handicap, One and a in If mile Bike race and Forced Handicap. If the weather is fine spectators will be treated to some exciting finishes. In the evening the Levin Dramatic Coy., by special arrangement with the Sport’s Cluh. will stage the well-known comedy “Charley’s Aunt” and during an interval the trophies will he presented hy the Mayor (Mr B. G. Gower). A special feature of to-morrow s Sports is the attention to the children’s races.
The admission to grounds will he fid.
