Any competitor found jostling will he immediately disqualified. All protests must be tnase within 13 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a deposit of 10s, which will be forfeited should the protest he considered frivolous; and all protests against competitors entering under false or incorrect performances shall he decided at 8 o’clock in the evening, or later, if the Committee deem necessary, and all prize money held over. No competitors shall be allowed to sit on any protest or give any information unless asked for. The Committe reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall he final in carrying out the programme. Costumes to he approved of by the Committee, and any competitor not making the required declaration shall not he entitled to claim any prize.
