SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A special meeting of the School Committee was held im Mr Frankland’s residence last night. Present : Messrs L. W. Wilson (Chairman) Coley, Perreau, Hennessy, Henderson, Levett, Baker and ther Secretary (Mr Frankland.) Several! matters of minor importance were!' discussed and a resolution passed to the effect that parents be notified that the school will be open on Monday next and that all scholars absent without , sufficient cause will render the parents liable to be proceeded against under the Truancy Act.
