The following civil cases were dealt with by Mr Thomson, S.M., at the local Court yesterday: —R.. G. Hickson v. S. J. Hartley, claim costs £ 1 15s 6d; R. N. Speirs*v. Frank Spiers, claim 9s 6d, plaintiff by default, costs 30s 6d ; Wm. Ross and Sons v. Alex. Morgan, claim £4 is, plaintiff by default, costs 17s; P. Hennessy v. £ I. J. Fake, claim £1 13s 3d, plain- \ tiff by default, costs ss. • } Three old age pensions were renewed by the Magistrate, and an additional one granted.
