Result 0! the Elections. Another Labour Victory. Sydney, September 12. The Premier estimates the state of parties as follows : Liberals 5 2 Labour 3° Independent 8 Of the latter, two will vote with the Labour Party, and six with the Ministry. The Ministry gained six seats, and lost six; Labour has won ten and lost four ; while the Independents have gained three and lost nine. The local option poll count is now complete. Twenty-nine electorates (four in Sydney) voted for continuance of licenses, and 25 others for reduction.
Labour scored another victory in the Hartley electorate, where the Ministerialist candidate, Mr John Hurley, was ousted by Mr Janies Dooley by a narrow majority.
