St Petersburg, Sept. 12. The Standardt, the Russian Royal yacht, is stranded on some submerged rocks at Horsoe, westward of Hangoe Head, on the northside of the entrance to the Gulf of Finland. A life-boat and seven torpedoboats are standing by the yacht. The Czar and his family are remaining on board the Standardt, Teheran, September 11.
A Turkish invading force, intended to occupy 150 Persian villages, is still advancing. [During August Turkish troops destroyed two villages, killing a number of Christians and carrying off females. The Persian Government appealed to the Powers to call upon the Porte to secure the withdrawal of the troops.] Hobart, September 12. The Budget shows that the revenue for the year totalled k'970,843, or above the Treasuer’s estimate. The expenditure was ,£893,800.
