Leaves nearly three.quarters o? a Million. Wellington, September 11. The estate of the late Hon. Walter Johnstone, of Wellington, is valued at nearly three-quarters of a million. The chief beneficiary is the widow. With the exception of £IOO to his coachman, testator has left the whole of the estate to his family. A sum of ,£BO,OOO is to be invested with the Public Trustee for the benefit of the four daughters in equal proportions. The estate is the largest yet presented for stamp duty in Wellington. The estate of the late Jacob Joseph was valued at ,£300,000, and that of W. H. Levin at about £>35,000.
