BOROUGH FINANCE.

S The Town Clerk reported that since last monthly meeting of the Council the sum of 7s has been paid into, the District Fund Account, which account had to its credit the sum of ,£231 15s. The balances of the various separate accounts are as follows: Cemetery Account, £6 12s lod; - Reserves Account, 15s rod; Interest Account, £2B 7s 6d (all in credit); General Account, ,£IOB 16s gd; Library Account, ,£3l 6s 2d; Sanitation Account, £9 7s 8d (the three latter accounts are overdrawn). In view of the heavy payments to be shortly made on account of the kerbing and water-tables contract, and the fact that the rates are coming in very slowly, I beg to recommend that the usual notice be given that all outstanding rates after the end of present month be sued for without further notice.
