Sir, —Seeing that his match was played for the benefit of Mr Hugh McEwan, I was greatly astonished at the team ol players representing Awahou, only three of them rolling \ up- Apart from the benefit it was || tantamount to an insult to the * spectators, who had looked forward to a similar and interesting game as played between the two teams about a month ago. Awahou evidently having won the banner, the subsequent proceedings in football do not interest them any more,—l am, etc., A Disgusted Spectator.
