KING EDWARD, DIPLOMAT.
Paris, August 21. At King Edward’s invitation, M. Clemenceau, French Premier, will lunch at Marienbad to-day. This is interpreted here as a mark of esteem, and as indicating an intention to discuss the results of his Majesty’s recent interviews with the the Emperors of Germany and Austria, especially regarding the situation in Morocco. Paris, August 22. M. Clemenceau has refused to reveal the nature of his conversation with King Edward, but says he carried away the impression that there is the brightest possible prospect of undisturbed peace.
