PERRY’S DIORAMA COMPANY.
To-Night. The above famous Biorama Company appears to-night in the Public Hall. The principal attraction will be a life-like representation of the world’s champion sculling match between Webb and Towns. Mr Perry has transacted a marvellously quick piece of business to have this picture taken and shipped to him in such a short time. It is spoken of as one of the finest pictures yet produced in the Dominion. Following as it does the large and enthusiastic crowd witnessing the great race from start to finish, and bearing our hero home in flying colours. Another interesting picture is that of Miss Annette Kellermann, the champion lady swimmer of the world, attempting to cross the English Channel, and giving a high educational exhibition of fancy diving. Mr Perry’s latest importation includes a number of the recent events, sights, and scenes taken throughout the world. The electric plant carried by the Biorama Company is the largest and most up-to-date touring, which enables the company to produce the pictures with the best possible results. The musical part of the programme is in the capable hands of the talented young duetists, the Brady sisters, who have already established themselves as great favourites throughout the Dominion. The Rextons will also appear in their original, artistic, and most amusing performance, introducing some wonderful feats of juggling and conjuring. ' Popular prices will be charged, so a packed house may be anticipated.
