Webb Receives Another Challenge.

Sydney, August 11

Durnan, the Canadian sculler, has cabled to Webb challenging him to row at Toronto for ,£SOO a side, or upwards, and the championship, allowing Webb ,£l5O for expenses. Webb states that he will row Tressider in six months’ time, and will then turn his attention to other challengers. He, however, prefers to row at Wanganui. Speaking last evening to an enter viewer, Webb said ; “ Stanbury will tell you we have a fine course at Wanganui, and I don’t see why Ifhould row elsewhere.”
