ALLEGED INDECENT ASSAULT.
A Foxton Case.
At the Palmerston S.M. Court yesterday, before Mr A. D. Thomson, S.M., John Prestlin (Mr Harden ) was charged with having indecently assaulted an eight-year-old girl at Foxton on 3rd of August. He pleaded guilty, stating that he was under the influence of liquor at the time and did not know what he was doing. He was committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence. The case was heard with closed floors.
